Laven Grey Music

Laven Grey Music is a full service songwriting and production studio. Our goal is to provide artists with a comfortable environment to write, record, produce, mix and master their work. This studio allows for the artistic vision to shine through all while tackling the technical aspects of music making.

Laven Grey, A.K.A Jordan Harper Kenney, graduated from William Paterson University of New Jersey in 2018 with a B.M. in Sound Engineering Arts and a concentration in Classical Voice and Musical Theatre. During his time there, he began interning at RMT Production Services LLC. and after that time, was hired as a freelance engineer. Over the past 5 years, Jordan has successfully worked on over 20+ theatrical productions.

After graduating, he also interned and worked part time at, Panetta Studios, a local New Jersey post production studio. He worked on projects ranging from advertisements to sound design and scoring for a short film.

While working part time as a live sound and post production engineer, he began writing and producing his own music. In addition to working for himself and his own artistic vision, he also started producing and mixing for other artists. This is where Jordan penned the artist/producer persona Laven grey. Throughout the past 5 years he explored various different genres including pop, singer/songwriter, and musical theatre. And often times, listeners can identify all three genres in his work. It is with this blend, that Laven Grey is able to find a space within music to be authentic and capture his unique view of the world.
